How Much Does it Cost?

At Align Commerce we believe in being completely honest about all our fees. While that may not sound like a novel approach, you’d be surprised. Most businesses are aware of upfront bank wire fees charged to send/receive an international payment. However, they are unaware there are at least two more hidden bank charges: an exchange rate spread fee and again on an receiving transfer fee.

We want to clarify the confusion by providing simple pricing. See below:

We charge you only 1.9% of the amount of currency you convert for payment. See the example below of someone receiving an international payment:

Your US business is going to receive payments in Euros. You convert the Euros and receive $1,000. You pay a $19 (1.9% Exchange Rate spread) fee with Align.

Banks

If you went through a bank the total fees for this payment would add up to a minimum of $60 ($15 Wire Initiation fee + 3% Exchange Rate spread + $15 Receiving fee).

How do I know my payment/info are secure?

We use the most sophisticated data encryption protocols available. All information stored, shared or uploaded on the platform is encrypted with the most advanced protocols available. Align Commerce is Comodo certified.

How fast can we transfer a payment?

Once your account is setup and verified, we can process your international payments in 1-3 days. If you want to pre-fund your account, we can often process your payment in the same day.

How is Align Commerce Different from a Bank?

The largest difference is that we use more efficient "payment rails" or "plumbing" than a bank. When a bank sends money overseas, they are unable to send it directly to the receiving bank. Your money is actually passed through many cooperating "intermediary banks" until it reaches the destination bank. And every time an "intermediary bank" touches your funds, they take a small fee for themselves. In the end each movement through each "intermediary bank" costs you time and money.

Align Commerce avoids intermediary bank networks. We transport your payments through cut- ting edge blockchain technology. And because we only touch your payments once we only need to charge you once. Less touches means less fees and faster payments.
